Offer Terms
Ezra's Auctions · Version 2026-10-06.1
The Store lets you propose a price for an item instead of paying the listed price. This page is the agreement you accept when you send an offer.
How offers work
- An offer is a private negotiation between you and the Store. Nobody else sees it and you are not competing with other buyers. There is no closing time and no premium.
- The Store replies quickly, usually within a minute: it may accept, counter or decline. You can accept a counter, send a new amount, or withdraw. Each item allows a limited number of rounds.
- A counter from the Store stays open for the time shown on it (normally 24 hours). If you do not respond it expires and you can start again after a short cooling-off period.
- The item stays on sale at its listed price while you negotiate. If someone buys it first, your offer ends.
Your card on file
To send an offer you keep a valid card on file. The Store does not charge it automatically: you pay at checkout, with that card or another one.
What happens when an offer is accepted
When an offer is accepted (by the Store, or by you accepting a counter) the item is taken off sale and held for you in your cart at the agreed price for 48 hours. In that time you complete checkout, where you choose shipping or pickup and pay.
I understand that if I have not paid within 48 hours of my offer being accepted, the hold ends, the item goes back on sale and it counts against my future offers.
Accepted offers are binding
An accepted offer is a purchase agreement under the Terms of Sale. Items are sold as-is; the Returns policy applies exactly as it does to a listed-price purchase. Letting an accepted offer lapse without paying is recorded against your account, and repeatedly walking away from accepted offers may result in the offer feature being suspended.
Notes you send with an offer
You can add a short note. Notes are read by the Store's offer assistant after names, email addresses and phone numbers are removed. Please do not include anything personal.
Consent record
Your acceptance of this page's version, the time and the network address are stored with each offer, together with the version of the Terms of Sale in force.
